This resource is reliable for teaching english to adults because this people age are always interested in having talks and meet new people. So I think so I can apply this resource to increase their knowledge, their skills and of course to get a deeper management of the past simple tense.

Role play is one of the best resources for both teaching and learning any language, not only for its great content but for the practice that it brings. Many adults will see themselves involved in this as the best activity to expose their knowledge and learn by practicing.

Your year in review

This is an intersting resource that allows students to express their dream they had in the past. Through this resource, students will be able to learn and put into practice their knowledge about past tense.

As well as role play, this is a practical resource, but it offers to students a space for them to talk about their reality, their feelings and dreams they had when they were younger.

To summarize, these two resources are similar, the difference is that Role Play is a fiction game, they will have to performance a set of roles, being characters of a imaginary situation. On the other hand, Your Year in Review is a very realistic talk about their own lives, their hopes and a view point about their current lives.
